Teachers create a session room for each meeting. When a parent arrives who needs language support, share the room code. The parent joins on their phone, selects their language, and you communicate in real time. A typical 10-minute parents' evening slot costs just £15.
LingoVoice works on any device with a browser — smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. Schools can provide a spare tablet or school device for parents who need one. The parent simply opens the browser, enters the room code, and selects their language.
LingoVoice uses encrypted connections and does not store conversations after sessions end. However, for formal safeguarding proceedings, we recommend using LingoVoice alongside qualified interpreters where required by your local authority's safeguarding procedures.
