1. About LingoVoice®
LingoVoice® is a real-time interpreting and translation platform operated by Lingo Service Translations, a company registered in Cardiff, United Kingdom. By using LingoVoice, you agree to these terms.
2. Account Registration
To use LingoVoice, you must create an account using your email address or by signing in with Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when registering.
3. Free Minutes
Each new account receives a one-time allocation of 60 free interpreting minutes. Free minutes do not reset or renew. Free minutes cannot be transferred between accounts.
4. Paid Minutes
You may purchase additional minutes through our top-up packages. Paid minutes are available at the rates displayed on our pricing page. Key terms:
- Paid minutes never expire and remain in your account until used.
- If you belong to an organisation, the organisation's shared pool is used first, then your personal free minutes, then your paid minutes.
- Payments are processed securely through PCI-compliant payment processor or PayPal.
- All prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds).
5. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the service, minutes that have been used cannot be refunded. If you have purchased minutes but not used them, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at support@lingovoice.ai.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Create multiple accounts to exploit the free minutes allowance.
- Use the service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code.
- Share or redistribute translations obtained through the service for commercial purposes without permission.
We reserve the right to flag or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. LingoVoice may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Translation Accuracy
LingoVoice uses multiple translation providers to deliver the best possible results. However, automated translations may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any translation. For critical communications (medical, legal, financial), we recommend verifying translations with a qualified human interpreter.
9. Intellectual Property
The LingoVoice platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Lingo Service Translations. Your content (messages and translations) remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingo Service Translations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of LingoVoice. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time using the self-service deletion option in the app, or by contacting us at support@lingovoice.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, any unused paid minutes may be refunded at our discretion.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of LingoVoice after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
